Goth Box (4CDs)

Goth Box es una compilación de bandas que firmarón con Cleopatra Records, reconocida disquera que se encargó de popularizar estilos de música obscura a lo largo de los 80s y 90s principalmente. El material consta de 4 CDs en los cuales se hace un recorrido de las bandas de Gothic Rock ochenteras hasta las deribaciones que este género mostró en la década de los 90s, es decir, en los 4 volumenes se compilan 20 años de desarrollo del género que da nombre a este material, Goth.

Ello, junto con el hecho de encontrarnos con que muchas de las bandas que aparecen en el compilado se encuentran desaparecidas o simplemente no han vuelto a crear temas del impacto de su primera época (por ejemplo, Bauhaus) genera que nos encontremos ante un material invaluable disgno de todo coleccionista o joven que comience a acercarse a los albores del genuino Rock Gótico, pues en nuestros días muchos denominan al Black Metal como gótico por el simple hecho de haber adoptado algunas atmósferas de las bandas obscuras hijas del Punk Rock: Bauhaus, The March Violets, Eva O, The Damned, Mephisto Walz, Charmeleons, Christian Death, etc. Todas ellas contenidas en este material, que estoy seguro será del agrado de muchos.
